WHAT IS ALIGNER TREATMENT?

Aligner treatment is a method used by orthodontists and dentists to move teeth into their correct alignment with a series of computer designed clear plastic trays. This orthodontic treatment option also referred as Invisible braces. These trays fit closely over the teeth, apply pressure on the teeth, and slowly but steadily move them.

Clear aligners are designed and built based on a digital simulation of your teeth in their ideal positions. Using scanning and printing technology, dental trays are generated to gradually move teeth to their ideal position.

Each tray is worn for approximately 5 - 14 days at a time, and should be accompanied by close evaluation by an orthodontist to ensure progress towards the end goal. Once your teeth have reached their target position for that tray, you will move onto the next one in the progression until the final goal is achieved.
